Check out Fareground, Austin's first food hall downtown. South Congress (SoCo) area offers many dining options like Perla's for seafood and Home Slice for pizza.

Outdoor Activities

Barton Springs Pool is a must-visit natural spring-fed pool that stays 68-70 degrees year-round. Lady Bird Lake offers paddleboarding, kayaking, and a beautiful hiking and biking trail along its shores.

Music & Entertainment

Austin calls itself the "Live Music Capital of the World" with over 250 music venues. Check out iconic venues like the Continental Club on South Congress, Antone's (known for blues), or the Broken Spoke for authentic Texas two-stepping.

Shopping & Neighborhoods

South Congress Avenue (SoCo) offers great shopping with unique boutiques and vintage stores. The Domain is an upscale outdoor shopping center with high-end retailers and restaurants.

Museums & Culture

The Blanton Museum of Art houses the largest public art collection in Central Texas. The Bullock Texas State History Museum tells the story of Texas through interactive exhibits.
